Scunthorpe Church of England Primary School

At Scunthorpe Church of England Primary School we aim to give children a strong understanding of the world around them whilst acquiring the skills and knowledge to help them think scientifically. In our lessons we teach knowledge of our world within chemistry, physics and biology and encourage children to create rational explanations for how things around us work. We encourage children to predict, explore and evaluate their learning through scientific enquiry and look to develop higher order thinking to explain what their enquiries show.
