Our most recent Ofsted Report- May 2023

what is it like to attend CofE

We are extremely proud of this inspection report. It is a true reflection of what life is like at Scunthorpe CofE. We all work incredibly hard to give the children the very best holistic education that we can. The report confirms that we are on the right path and we know where we are going. We would like to thank all of our families for working with us to do the very best for our children.

Parent View

We are always looking to improve what we do here at Scunthorpe C of E Primary and we would very much like your views about the school. Therefore we would be very grateful if you would take the time ( no more than 5-10 mins ) to complete the Parent View survey on the Ofsted website. Many thanks http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk

Section 48 Church Ofsted Inspection

I am delighted to be able to share with you all the results of our recent Section 48 Ofsted (SIAMS) Inspection. As a Church of England School we have two Ofsted Inspections, this one looks at three main areas of what we do as a church school –

  • Our distinctive Christian character.
  • The impact of collective worship
  • Leadership and management of the school as a church school.

I am very pleased to say that the school was judged to be good in all areas, therefore giving us an overall judgement of good.

As always Ofsted has suggested areas to improve and we have already begun our work on these suggestions.

This is cause for celebration and I would like to thank the whole school community for the work that you do with us to make this school such a special place, a place where children can thrive and shine.
